2017 trade fairs – markets at a glance
In the search for new sales markets, we use national and international trade fairs to get an impression of the actual local economic situation in a country, as well as to make new contacts and maintain old ones. We also use our trade fair appearances to actively support our local representatives. We were at AMB in Stuttgart in September, at MSV in Brno, Czech Republic in October, and at Precisiebeurs in Veldhoven, Netherlands in November.
The MSV international mechanical engineering trade fair in Brünn, for example, is the leading industry trade fair in central Europe with more than 1,500 exhibitors and 75,000 visitors from 59 countries. When more than seventy percent of the professional visitors have influence in investment decisions and one third are in top management, then we are in the right place. In Brünn, we were also able to welcome participants in the embassy tour to our stand. This included Dr Arndt Freiherr Freytag von Loringhoven, German ambassador in Prague, Rebecca Kašens, Head of the Office for the Economy and Science at the German Embassy, Axel Limberg, President of the Czech-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Bernard Bauer, Director of the Czech-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Barbara Vávra, Czech-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
